I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
Please don’t add to your anxiety by believing you must do the impossible. None of us are going to turn this ship around in time to keep it from sinking. Give yourself permission to mourn, permission to let go of impossible tasks, and permission to just be, to be one of Earth’s beloved treasures. Let that be enough for a start.
