I am a communications specialist, facilitative editor, interfaith minister, and spiritual director living in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have worked on peace and environment issues starting in the 1980s, in communications and program roles. Although I have been aware of climate change since the ’90s, I am gobsmacked by the speed and severity of the climate disruption that we’re now seeing. As an interfaith minister and former psychiatric social worker, I am drawn to the nexus of spirituality, personal transformation, and social change. I am co-leading the Resilience and Acceptance course because I have found it so meaningful and transformative, and I want others to have this opportunity. The course is a wise and supportive space for considering the predicament that we face, while resourcing ourselves to live meaningful lives in these challenging times.
