Marcus Brix is a commodity risk manager, energy market analyst, and a firm believer of global ecological overshoot. He currently lives in Denver, CO with his wife and son. Marcus views the symptoms of collapse as an intersection of the larger human predicament brought upon by overshoot including, but not limited to, climate destabilization and sociological demographic change. He believes in objective analysis and attempts to view human behavior in the rational economic framework of decisions and tradeoffs. Marcus has a professional and intellectual interest in topics like energy economics, geopolitics, ecological systems, sociology, philosophy, and community building.
