I have worked on peace and environment issues starting in the 1980s, in communications and program roles. Although I have been aware of climate change since the &#8217;90s, I am gobsmacked by the speed and severity of the climate disruption that we&#8217;re now seeing. As an interfaith minister and former psychiatric social worker, I am drawn to the nexus of spirituality, personal transformation, and social change. I am co-leading the Resilience and Acceptance course because I have found it so meaningful and transformative, and I want others to have this opportunity.
